I Love This Precious Cat...

[click images to see them in their full glory at What Did You Eat?]

I stopped long enough to pick up my blogger email and saw there was a notification of a new comment on one of my older posts. It was from Sher.

She wrote:
Upsie will pass over the bridge soon. She will meet up with Taboo and Sushi.

I replied with a brief personal note, part of which I quote [Sher, I hope you don't mind]:
...and I'm crying. Oh god, there is never enough time to be with those we love and who love us, is there? As I go about my day, I shall keep you and her in my heart. Thanks for letting me know.

God speed, Upsie -- say hello to EVERYONE, with some extra loving scritches to all our little beasties! Then give 'em your special brand of a chewing out for leaving too soon, always too soon. And especially enjoy your heavenly feasts. Gentle nuzzy kisses and smooches for your pretty face.

Friends of Friday Ark and Weekend Cat Blogging, be sure to stop by to offer your support and special brand of catblogging kindness ~ to keep Sher and her family in your hearts as they face this difficult part of the journey with their beloved pussycat, and to ask the divine Upsie to say "HI" to your favorite friends waiting for you by the bridge.

After Sundance, I personally hope she meets up with Sushi first. He was always sweet to girl kitties. Taboo will want to wrassle with her as a little test, but I bet Miss 'Boo will think twice if she ever sees this little move Upsie put on Sundance a year of moons and stars ago.

In Loving Memory

of our incredible blue-eyed, boy kitty.

Our hearts continue to miss him every day, as did Taboo while she was still here with us.

As they did on meltingly hot, summer days on their porch, they now rest, side by side, under the honeysuckle bush, where much to their kitty-hearts' everlasting delight wild birds would come to splash and drink from a bath suspended beneath its branches. [The birds were safe, of course - the cats were never allowed out.]
Last but never least, be sure to stop by Friday's Ark and the beautiful A Byootaful Life, for some serious cat blogging.

A WCB In Silence & Remembrance...

A Light in Silence & Remembrance

Many hugs and sweetly soft nosy nuzzles go out to the lovingest boys Kashim and Othello, living purrfect kitty lives with their special mommy in wonderful Vienna, for their wonderful remembrance of our gone but never forgotten beloved best friend kitties,
Taboo, Sushi, Bianca, Merry, Beethoven, and Barsoap and his mom, Cindy - a little girl's first kitten.

Please stop over at
The Catboys Realm for this weekend's cat blogging -- and to light a candle against the darkness of sorrow, in hopes for loving eternal reunions of beloved pets and their human companions everywhere.
PS: Bring hankies to dry your eyes!
]

And scroll down to the next entry, or
click here, to see a little video of a young Taboo sending eye kisses. Thanks, and love to all the brilliant blog kitties we have met.

In Loving Memory

of our incredible boy kitty,
the sweetest we ever knew
[except at the vet, where he was ferocious with a vengence].

Our hearts miss him every day,
as does his beloved Taboo [link],
who was his life-long companion.
