In Loving Memory
of our incredible blue-eyed, boy kitty.
Our hearts continue to miss him every day, as did Taboo while she was still here with us.
As they did on meltingly hot, summer days on their porch, they now rest, side by side, under the honeysuckle bush, where much to their kitty-hearts' everlasting delight wild birds would come to splash and drink from a bath suspended beneath its branches. [The birds were safe, of course - the cats were never allowed out.]
Last but never least, be sure to stop by Friday's Ark and the beautiful A Byootaful Life, for some serious cat blogging.

Sushi was a very handsome cat. And that photo with Taboo is very sweet.
Thank you for sharing these memories with us.
We recently lost a member of our family too~ I bet they are chasing eachother right now!
I posted your beautiful centerpiece... It's ok to vote for yourself!
Hi from Bonnie in Virginia. Oh, it hurts so badly when they Pass Over The Rainbow Bridge. We just lost Spike and Michelle, our shelter cats last month. We seldom have this happen. Please know that others share your sadness. See my link from last month: http://weblog.xanga.com/purrin_at_pantops/634094799/we-honor-spike-and-michelle.html
This is Midday - link to WCB: http://weblog.xanga.com/purrin_at_pantops/629209129/midday-the-praying-cat.html
Please share with us about any of your current "fur" family members.
What a beautiful kitty. I also like to think back on when our kitties first joined our family and, for those who have died, when they left. You've written such a sweet remembrance of Sushi.
They were such beautiful cats and they look like they got on well together! It hurts so much when they go away. That's a beautiful tribute to Sushi,
Karen (Mum to Gypsy & Tasha)
What beautiful cats they were! We are so very sorry for your loss! Karl is still very very sad about the loss of his sweet Anastasia this August, and I lost Ralph this summer. We understand.

He was such a beautiful cat with a sweet face!
Cheers,
Rosa
Sushi was a beautiful cat - it's always so hard to say goodbye. This post is a heart-felt remembrance to him - it sounds like he had a very loving family surrounding him.
Such a beautiful redpoint!
Myself I have a wee one of the same point at home right now, those blue eyes are very special...
And I think, from experience, that in all the sorrow and loss it is comforting to know the furry friends are most certainly somewhere together, happy, content and enjoying their life "on the other side".
Thank you so much for coming by and visiting Anastasia's blog. We miss her every single day... I think it was Israel Kamakawiwo'ole - she loved hula and Hawaiian music....
In other news from Antarctica:
We will have a surprise guest coming tomorrow and a big party on Thursday!!!
That was lovely. And the photos touch my heart. Upsie will pass over the bridge soon. She will meet up with Taboo and Sushi....
