Do you think it's tastes better than the ginger root in the stores? Sometimes the stuff I buy is pretty weak.

it's been a long time since i did this, and i don't use a lot of ginger...but i recall it was pretty pungent & fresh tasting. i thought the flowers were even better -- spectacular & fragrant!
try it...it's simple enough on a sunny patio or deck.
