What a sweet snoozer! How cozy it all looks.

I got your message; you'll be first in the roundup list! I'm drafting the WCB post now and will put it up first thing tomorrow (Saturday the 30th) morning.

Cheers!

Why Bush is like a cat...

Cats take a lot of naps. So does Bush.

Cats leave their shit where it causes you problems (like your shoe). So does Bush.

Cats have sense to come in out of the rain.

Hey, two out of three ain't bad. :)

Judging by the comment you (Whaleshaman) just left over on my blog, my comment (above) offended you. I can assure you that it was not intended to and apologize wholeheartedly. Please feel free to delete my earlier comment (and this one too, if you wish).

I wanted to return the complement after you left a nice comment on my blog and also linked to my blog (which you might have removed by now—I haven't checked). I noticed that your blog consists of entries lambasting Bush and praising cats. Even without the anti-Bush posts it was obvious that you are a person if impeccable taste and behaviour since a cat has chosen to adopt you.

So I left a short comment combining your two interests that I mistakenly thought was witty. I was in a bit of a rush so I didn't think through all the implications of what I wrote. Plus I'd been looking over the various websites relating to the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers and read that the correct name for the feline often referred to as "Fat Freddy's Cat" is actually "Fat Freddy Scat", which reminded me of said feline's predilection for leaving "presents" in Freddy's shoes and similar places.

I forgot to make it clear that cats rarely leave unwelcome gifts of that nature except under extreme duress. I know whereof I speak due to the acquaintance of somebody who did not empty the litter tray as often as he should have. The cat, although very good-natured and willing to put up with it far longer than most cats would, eventually could stand it no longer. It didn't target people's shoes but it could sometimes take a while to track down the deposit.

Or perhaps you simply objected me to making any sort of comparison between Bush and a cat. There are, obviously, many more differences than there are similarities, but that would have required a far longer comment.
